Can i just heat up a skinless chicken breast and some salsa on the stove?!
Answers: will something nasty happen to the salsa?
you can definitely cook the chicken and salsa in the same pan! the tomatoes, etc. in the salsa will break down a little and become even better...just like cooking meatballs in tomato sauce!! (the meatballs are precooked, then simmered in the sauce)
sounds yummy to me! what time's dinner? LOL
if the chicken is already cooked, sure! if not, you'll have to cook the chicken seperately, the heat them together. Wait. Do you mean heat up the chicken, than heat up the salsa seperate, or heat them together?
Not at all. I do it all the time. Have fun! Just make sure you cook it for at leat 15 minutes, if the chicken is not alrady cooked.
no it will taste good. if you are worried about the salsa getting nasty. cook the chicken unitl its almost cooked and add the salsa for that last few minutes of cooking.
If you are starting with raw chicken, you might overcook the salsa. Brown the chicken breast on both sides, pour in the salsa, then simmer until the thickest part of the chicken breast is no longer pink.
Yes of course you can! Enjoy.
Cook the chicken until almost cooked all the way, then add the salsa. Cook until salsa is hot and chicken is cooked through. For extra flavor, marinade the chicken for 10 to 20 minutes in fresh lime juice before cooking.
Yes, it's an easy way to prepare chicken. You'll want to make sure your skillet/pan is very hot. Add a tablespoon of olive oil. You might also want to season the chicken with a bit of salt & pepper. A squeeze of fresh lime juice on the chicken is great too! It will enhance the flavors of the salsa. Cook for about 6-9 minutes per side-depending on how thick or thin your chicken is. Maybe at about 15 minutes total cooking time you can cut into the chicken to see how done it is. Add the salsa the last 2-3 minutes of cooking time.
Good luck!
Thrown them in together, stir-fry to cook faster.
sure! it will just frie up and taste delicious! I have had it plenty of times!! btw enjoyyy :]
Heat the chicken first because it is thick, and then pour on the salsa and heat until the salsa is warm/hot.
Yes you can, and if it is too much of a tangy taste from the salsa, just add a teaspoon of honey. It probably will be delicious.
It will be just fine!
