Need new cheap recipes?!

Question: I need new cheap recipes that feed a family of 5-6 people. We dont eat seafood and steak is too expensive. It cannot be too fattening, I want it to be somewhat healthy for my family. We do not eat pork either. The recipes are greatly needed, ee find ourselves eating the same things every week. Thank you soooo much for your answers, Savannah

Some staples that are fairly inexpensive per serving are rice and beans. The bigger bags you buy, the cheaper it gets per serving.

Beans are high in protein, and very filling. You can use them in burritos, soup, etc.

Chicken and rice casserole is easy and fairly inexpensive. The recipe is on the can of Cream of Mushroom soup. It is pretty much chicken, soup, and rice.

You can make mini "pizzas" from English muffins, spaghetti sauce, shredded cheese, and whatever toppings you have on hand. Kids have fun making their own.

Soft tacos with tortillas, ground beef, and vegetables are pretty healthy, and better than pasta dishes.

Baked potatoes with assorted toppings are good with salad.

Good luck, and I hope this helps! :)

you can boil red or baby potatoes and add some spices to them for yummy taste and you can make chicken breasts with salsa. you can make a variety of salads with any veggies you like. you can make meatloaf pretty easily. you can make chicken patties or turkey burgers.

I like a fruit salad with some low-fat vanilla custard.

We often use ground turkey in these recipes instead of ground beef, but use what you like.
