I love this Amish Meatloaf recipe I found,,heres the link,,Good Luck!!! http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Amish-Meatl...

I use ground beef, then I put in an egg, and I use ground up cheese it crackers. I also use BBQ sauce, and mix all together. I dont add salt just onion powder, garlic powder and alittle pepper, and whatever kinds of spices you want.

2 lbs. ground beef
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1 egg
1/2 cup katchup
2/3 cup dry oatmeal
1/3 cup milk
1 small onion, diced
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Mix all ingrediants well and mold into a loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

I have a couple of suggestions:) Go to MarthaStewart.com and find her mom's meat loaf recipe. Mine is quite simple: 2 pounds of ground chuck, 1 cup of unseasoned bread crumbs, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 egg, salt and pepper to taste, 1 28 ounce can of Hunt's tomato sauce (use about 3/4 to mix in with the meat mixture and pour the rest over the loaves). Mix everything together real well. I have a large plastic chopping mat that I use. I chop the onion and spread that out on the mat. I put the hamburger on top and flatten it out, spread the bread crumbs on top, sprinkle on the salt and pepper, make a little well in the middle and add the egg, pour some of the tomato sauce on top and with clean hands, begin mixing everything together, folding the meat from the outside to the inside and knead it together, add more tomato sauce and keep on kneading until all is well blended together. Divide the meat in half and mound them up into two loaves and place them in a 9 X 13 Pyrex baking dish. Make little grooves across the loaves with the side of your hand, pour the remaining tomato sauce over the top and into the grooves of the loaves. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1 hour. I serve mine with baked potatoes and green beans.

there you go again you already know your answer''

2 lbs ground chuck
2 eggs
1- 8oz can of tomato sauce
1 can of rotel tomatoes

mix together ground chuck, seasonings, onions, bell peppers, can of rotel tomatoes and half can of 1/4 can of tomato sauce and form into a loaf.... cook for about 1.5 hrs, pouring out any additional grease during cooking... pour remaining tomato sauce over meatloaf and during last 10 - 15 minutes... cover meatloaf with cheese and let melt .... Serve hot.... delicious everytime

1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1/2 - 1 lb ground chorizo (depending on your spice preference)
1 ojion diced
1 green pepper diced
2 eggs
bread crumbs
milk
salt/pepper
oregano, garlic powder
chili sauce

Mix all the ingredients excpet chili sauce. Combine well. Add seasonings to your preference. Adjust milk and bread crumbs until everything holds together but is still very moist.

Put in a greased pan and form a loaf. Cover with chili sauce.

Bake 350 for 90 minutes. You may want to occasionally check on the pan and draw off a bit of the fat.

Remove to a platter and let rest. You can separate the drippings and make a gravy at this point if you like.

My family loves this.

This is my all time favorite recipe:

good quality ground beef
ground pork

finely chopped celery, onion & carrot
a little butter (unsalted)

garlic
mustard
ketchup
worchestire sauce
1 c bread crumbs
egg
3/4 c milk
fresh ground salt & pepper

Saute the vegies in a little butter until soft. Add to the meat and mix in, then add the remaining ingredients. Place in the middle of a cookie sheet, like an oval shape, cover with ketchup and bake on 350 for about an hour. I make enough for 12 people, so you may want to check after 30 minutes and see if it's done. Mine bakes for about an hour.

I do what Murphybo does but instead of ketchup I put in Salsa of your choice. I like mild myself. I also add some taco seasoning and I like garlic in it too. That is my meatloaf of choice at present but that will change in time.

2 lbs hamburger or ground turkey
1/2 cup crushed saltine crackers
1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic, minced
2 eggs, beaten
1 can tomato sauce

Topping
1 can condensed tomato soup
2 tbsp. prepared yellow mustard
2 tbsp. splenda brown sugar substitute

In bowl, combine beef, onion, garlic, eggs, tomato sauce and crackers. Mix well and pat into baking dish or cast iron skillet. Bake 1 hr at 400, drain off grease. Mix topping ingredients and pour over meatloaf, bake another 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
