Here you go, this should be perfect for a coleslaw salad. The sweet and tangy should be a nice balance. It is also a very easy recipe with few ingredients. (no mayo in this recipe)

Tangy Salad Dressing

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS
In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients; shake well. Store in the refrigerator.
1/8 teaspoon pepper

you can substitue mayo with plain yougurt...
i know you asked for non creamy...
but ill share this anyway ...

i like it this made with mayo and yougurt
1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. yougurt/mayo
1 Tb s. poppy seeds( but this is totally optional)
mix in a bowl the pour over your slaw

i like it on a cucumber /tomato salad with thinly sliced red onions ;)

you can try the cider vingar with an extra virgin olive oil that would be great.. and still keep light & keep some taste to the dressing

hope you like it ...
;)

Try a basic vinaigrette... egg yolk, e.v.o.o, any kind of vinegar you prefer, and a dash of lemon juice...done!
