What is the white residue collecting at the bottoms of my pots and pans?!

Question: Everytime I run them through the dishwasher and put them on the shelf, there is a layer of white stuff in them after a few days. What's up?

Calcium deposits from water, just put some vinegar in there for a few minutes then wash them out, it will get rid of it. The calcium deposits have no health risks ^^

Your dishwasher is not cleaning them
it sounds like its your dishwashing detergent on them

where i live there is limestone everywhere so when we use our water from tap, dishwasher etc... it leaves a lime residue on our dishes so maybe the culprit is lime?!!hope this helps!! :)

i am guessing it is soap from the dish washer maybe try a new brand ?

get yourself some JetDry. It will soften the water and help clean your dishes to a shine
