indian cooking is easy if u have the right spices stocked.
ok heres my recipe for dahl.
ingredients: 1tsp black mustard seeds, curry leaves if u have them, 1 or 2 cloves garlic, salt to taste, 1tsp turmeric, oil, 1 small tomato
1. boil dahl in a pressure cooker or on stove until tender....a pressure cooker can do this is 10 mins...longer time needed otherwise
2. heat oil in pan. When hot, add mustard seeds...they should crackle, add sliced garlic and curry leaves.
3. Add cooked dahl
4. add turmeric, salt and tomatoes pieces. let simmer for 10 mins

DONE! very easy if u give it a go...hope you enjoy it. let me know if u want other recipes.
