Is there any (flavor) difference between black and white sesame seeds?!

Question: Not really noticeable, the black ones are usually used as a contrasting garnish in dishes.....I eat a lot of senbei (Japanese rice crackers) and they're coated in a liberal amount of black sesame seeds......got a nice crunch, only problem is they get stuck in my teeth..... ;(
