Does anyone else love to take the rest of the sauce from pickled beets jar and make pickled eggs?!
Later when I was grown, I decided to try & make
them myself, but I used a shortcut and used the pickled beets in a jar to make them and they turned out really good.I haven't had one in years,but now you got me wanting a"Pickled Beet Egg" Got to make some.
Answers: When I was a kid at home my mom use to pickle her own beets & after we ate the beets we always saved the juice to make"Pickled Beet Eggs"

I don't like pickled eggs but I did make it for my husband and he liked it.
WE love it! And we also use leftover sweet pickle juice.] for a different tasting egg.
My mom buys canned beets for her pickled beet eggs. Anyone who doesn't like pickled beet eggs is screwy!
