Besides mashed potatoes, what can I serve with meatloaf?!

Question: My husband loves meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green peas. But, if you don't want to serve mashed potatoes, how about broccoli and carrots? If you want a starch, rice is good but macaroni and cheese is even better.

Once you put it in my mind, I decided meatloaf would be good for tonight at my house, too. Thank YOU! Report It

Green beans, corn, scalloped potatoes are good too.

French Fries actually go real well. So does corn and most vegetables.

    Green beans, corn, or salad.

Scalloped potatoes or a nice rice dish. Plus veggies, of course.

do peas..works well with the mashed potatos. =)

Mac & Cheese, Rice, Quinoa, Corn, Sweet potatoes..
or you want other side dishes to go along with the mashed potatoes?
Salad, Green Beans, English Peas, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Kale, this list is endless.

    Slainté(to your health)

    corn, peas idk any veggie

Steamed vegetables, white or brown rice.

Go one better and make champ Irish dish. Cream the mash with sour cream or yogurt add butter whisk till light and fluffy, add choped spring onions. Enjoy

    asparagus, green beans, corn, rolls

    Green bean and apple sauce.

Sounds crazy, but when I don't do the mashed potatoes and peas, I serve it with pasta and tomato based spaghetti sauce . . . think of the meat loaf as a silce of meatball and it makes sense. I started doing this as a lazy gal's way of avoiding making individual meatballs!

rice pilaf and a green vegetable

    gravy
