Meringue and cheesecake...?!

is that wierd, or have you ever heard of that done before, because i haven't.

I think I've had it that way, but they called it "cheese pie" The meringue was not whipped to peaks, only frothy, and was on top of the cheesecake part. It was just a shallow layer of meringue. I think that's how they serve it at Claim Jumper Restaurant here in California.

Don't ruin your lovely cheesecake with meringue
