What is "Granulated" sugar??!

Question: Is it normal white sugar.. or what?

Answers: Is it normal white sugar.. or what?

White sugar.

Yup. as opposed to powdered or brown

Its also called table sugar. Its the normal stuff you put on your cereal or in your coffee.

yes its just plan sugar.

Granulated sugar is the term for the standard, widely used form of pure white sugar. Do not use superfine granulated sugar unless specified. Store sugar indefinitely in an airtight container.

In Australia that is the plain ordinary white sugar crystals you use in all general purpose ways.

Granulated sugar is sugar that has been made into granules.

It's regular sugar, though it is coarse.

granulated = regular white sugar.

There's also:

caster sugar = finer grains, but still evidently granules.

confectioner's sugar = powder.

It is the regular, normal sugar that we buy for coffee, tea, whatever.

The easiest way to describe granulated sugar is to say it's the sugar that looks like salt.

its just regular sugar. Confectioners sugar is powered sugar
