I have a good recipe for pork chops...
season the chops, black pepper, garlic powder, brown on top on the stove until browned on both sides
Put them in the oven until cooked through, take out and put a can of pre-made chili on the top of the chops, spread thoroughly...back into the oven until chili is warmed through. take out and sprinkle grated cheese on top, back into the oven until the cheese is melted...they are delicious.
I usually cook mine by coating them in corn meal to fry them up. Add some seasoning, salt pepper. Cook til done.
i would dip them and flour heat the grease and the pan and gentle slide them in the pan and turn them over ever so often to brown or crisp what ever you perfer
I either season them and then fry them in a little bit of oil until crispy or season them and put on the george foreman grill. I have also tried the shake and bake for pork chops and it is really good too! Good Luck!
Sounds like a great dinner. I have a couple of suggestions.
You can bread them and bake them for an hour in a 350 oven.
You can bake them with a dash of salt, garlic and pepper.
Or you can fry them in a small amount of butter or vegetable oil with salt pepper and garlic. Make sure you cook them well that there is no pink in them. That can be dangerous to eat.
Heat your well oiled (three to four TBLS oil) pan to about 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and flour your chops add a little salt and black pepper. Fry till golden on one side and turn only once. Cook other side until golden and remove to paper towel for blotting.
If you want gravy to go with them chops, reserve the oil and pan drippings, add 2 TBLS flour and cook the flour until slightly brown, add milk until the mixture is thin and fluid. Slowly stir the gravy until the right thickness is achieved. Put the chops back in the gravy for a few minutes for juicy chops and great gravy.
Baked is the healthy way. I use an egg dip, and coat with Mrs. Dash and bread crumbs. Low fat, low sodium. Good for Grandma.
