All you need is one bag of butterscotch chips, one canister of chinese noodles, and the peanuts. I like to add 1 cup of smooth peanut butter to the saucepan to make them a bit richer too Sometimes I also add 1 cup of flaked coconut.

CANDY COOKIES OR HAYSTACKS

3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter, exact
1/2 c. milk
3-6 tbsp. Hershey's baking cocoa

Stir together oatmeal and peanut butter in large bowl; set aside. In a pan on stove stir together sugar, butter, milk and cocoa.
Bring to boil over low heat; boil for 1 minute exactly. Take off heat and pour over oatmeal mixture. Spoon mixture onto greased counter quickly so mixture doesn't harden in bowl.

Hi there!!
Yeah most recipes call for wax paper for them but its just used so they can get hard. Foil works just as well!!

2 pkgs. butterscotch chips
1 large can Chow mein noodles ( or 1 bag)
2 cups salted peanuts (optional)

Melt chips over water in double boiler. Remove from heat and Add chow mein noodles and peanuts. Drop on foil with teaspoon.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup peanuts
2 cups chow mein noodles
PREPARATION:
Microwave the butterscotch chips and peanut butter on 50 percent power for 3 to 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and blend to coat noodles thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
