We are having steak and seafood night! Grilled NY Strips, salmon, shrimp cocktail, brussel sprouts, Roasted red potatoes and parmesean coucous! Whew thats a mouth full!
If you didnt live in Wis. I'd invite you over!!

Taking leftover ham, and making fresh mashed potatoes, and heating up some frozen corn. Oh and I need to make some homemade bread - better run!! Use whatever you've got in the fridge. I HATE wasting food and money, so if you've got leftovers, and some new sides or dessert with it, and let your family know how proud they should be that they saved money by you using leftovers. Maybe this will leave a little budget room for Friday pizza night.

ham hocks w/ 15 bean soup- dry beans, add water, chic base, chopped tomatoes and onions, garlic and pepper, cook until done, really good!

chicken tenders with peanut sauce, rice and broccoli.
-kinda Chinese

i am having stew

Mmm I'll tell you what I'm making ( and it's one of my favorites) chicken crepes! Yum here's a recipe if you want to make it.

Hope you like it, Enjoy! :)

oxtails (still cooking in crock pot), rice (I haven't gotten up to make it yet), and navy beans (all done). Sooooooooooo I have a feeling we may do chinese take out. I will know when my son comes home from basketball game. Its about 7:15 pm here now.

I'm made my son's favorite, he calls it manpie. Take mashed potatoes and put in bottom of glass baking dish about 1 inch thick and up sides of bowl. I usually make mine with garlic. Then add layer of sharp chedder cheese and ground beef. The beef I have cooked 1 lb with garlic/onions and 1tsp chili powder, 1tbl worcheshire sauce. Then about 1 more inch of mashed potato and cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. It's a bit like sheepherds pie..I have also added corn at times, and jalepeno's for those who like it spicier.
