I wouldn't eat this if you paid me so neither fridge or frozen is appropriate in my opinion. The only option is the Dustbin!

freeze of course like duhhh

why put it in the fridge at all, it should store fine in airtight container. In the fridge or freezer it will go dry and hard.

I would store it in the frig and it will be fine for a few days. I put a cake in the freezer and then when I went to defrost it I guess from being frozen it turned stale and mushy in the middle and hard on the ends. I had to toss the whole thing.

As long as you frost it after it cools off I would just keep it in an airtight container like Sporadic said.

The frosting also will keep the cake moist and fresh until you cut it.

You will notice at grocery stores... they leave the frosted cakes out without refigerating them for a few days.

Your cake will be fine until Friday.
It sounds delicious, I may try your recipe myself!! What kind of icing are you using?

Mary doesn't know what she's talking about! Since you won't serve it until Friday, you should wrap it well in plastic wrap and keep in the fridge.
