I have a huge love for shrimp too. Here are some good ways to make it:
1) creole...sweat a large chopped onion, 2 diced green peppers, and 2 stalks of diced celery in a pot. Add a few cloves of minced garlic. Add a can or petite diced tomatoes, 1 small can of tomato sauce and simmer until veggies are tender. Add your shrimp and cook 5 minutes until they are opaque. Serve over white rice.

2) scampi...saute your shrimp with lots of garlic, chopped shallots, butter, white wine and add some chopped parsley at the end. This tastes good with white rice or linguine.

3) grilled shrimp...skewer your shrimp with some pineapple and red peppers and grill. Baste with mixture of fresh lemon and orange juice, butter, and garlic. (Maybe a little rum, if you're feeling adventurous)

4) try a spicy Thai coconut shrimp

5) wrap your shrimp in bacon, brown in pan, and serve with cheesy grits

6)try breading them in breadcrumbs and deep frying them...you can also top with tomato sauce and mozerrella cheese for a shrimp parmigiana

7) Make a Chinese fried rice, and add them to your rice

8) How about a creamy shrimp bisque soup to warm you up?
