If you manage to measure it out as the same amount of butter there is in a stick of butter, then yes. On the wrapper of the stick, there should be lines marking how much there is, use that much with the country crock butter.

I use crisco for banana bread.. country crock should be ok too. I also use soy milk for the milk and flak seed "eggs" for the eggs..Everyone loves it.

YES

You can substitute margarine's for butter in any baking recipe. I personally think it does not taste as good....but usable.

I think it might turn out ok in the banana bread/muffins, but I wouldn't use it as a substitute in cookies. The reason I say this is because country crock has a higher vegetable oil content to make it spreadable- putting oil in cookies makes them icky, but I have several quick bread recipes with oil in them. So, that being said, I do a lot of playing around with quick bread recipes. Country crock should work fine.

You could, but I don't think it would be as tasty...the texture may end up a bit different, too (more crumbly...is "crumbly" a word? ha ha)

The texture comes out different ...but it is still edible
