Do you have a good meatball recipe!?!


Question: I am looking for something pretty easy...maybe in the slow cooker or something I could buy the frozen meatballs for. I am looking for all types of meatball recipes but especially ones for italian meatballs! Any recipe for meatballs you have would be appreciated. Thanks!

Frozen meatballs, ragu traditional pizza sauce, add garlic, onion, italian seasoning. Crock pot on low. It really is delicious. I buy the meatballs at Sams club. I have served this at several parties and EVERYBODY love's it.

EASY, EASY, EASY!!!!

Here are lots of different recipes for meatballs:

Meatballs:

1 lb hamburger
1 cup bread crumbs, unseasoned
1/2 cup Kraft Parmesan cheese
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 cup milk
2 well-beaten eggs

We put Italian flavored bread crumbs in ours. Add a little grated parm cheese and some garlic powder and you will have some tasty meat balls.

Meatball soup- sounds odd but the family love it!
INGREDIENTS
2 quarts water
20 small meatballs
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 cubes beef bouillon cube
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup elbow macaroni

DIRECTIONS
Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan. Add meatballs, tomato sauce, bouillon, oregano, basil, thyme, salt and pepper to taste, celery, carrots, and garlic, and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add macaroni and cook until pasta is done. Top with parmesan cheese to serve.

Manhattan meatballs (But you have to make them yourself) its easy enough though tried and tested :)

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds ground round (very lean)
2 cups dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 1/2 (16 ounce) jars pineapple preserves

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium-size mixing bowl, mix barbecue sauce and pineapple preserves together.
In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, onions, salt, and parsley. Mix well and form into bite-size balls. Arrange the balls in a single layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour the barbecue sauce mixture evenly over the meatballs.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until the meat is cooked.


Sweet and sour meatballs

INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 onion, diced
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce

DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs and onion. Mix thoroughly and shape into golf ball-sized balls.
In a large skillet over medium heat, gently brown the meatballs and set aside.
In a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, flour, water, white vinegar and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly. Add meatballs and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, for 30 minutes.

Swedish meatballs

INGREDIENTS
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup dry cream of wheat cereal
1/4 cup minced onion
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg and the milk. Add the beef, cream of wheat and onion and mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place balls on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 20 minutes.
Drain meatballs on paper towels, if needed. Then place meatballs in a lightly greased 2 quart casserole dish. In a separate medium bowl, combine the soups with the evaporated milk, stirring until smooth. Pour over the meatballs.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for another 40 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Or for a quick dinner warm tomato sauce and cook some spaghetti, season with little oregano and you have a tasty , healthy wuick dinner.
