I purchased a cherry pie at Costco and the crust is not done, can I bake it some more at home?!

Question: I mean without ruining it? It makes me mad but I live a ways from Costco so it is not a small matter to take it back

I've rebaked before without a problem. Just preheat your oven to 350 first.

I don't know how well it'll do, but it'll have to be better then it is now.

Good luck!

My first thought was to call Costco - You should be able to find your number on the reciept. Ask for the bakery and explain what your problem is. They can tell you what temp to cook the pie at - they might not be able to tell you how long though, but you should be able to keep an eye on it and see when its cooked to your liking. Good luck!

Don't see why not....if you originally cooked it and it was not done, you would cook it longer. If the top crust is golden, I would place foil to prevent burning.

Don't count on me, but I think hell yeah! Put it in a 350degree oven, or maybe look up a cherry pie recipe and see the oven temp. Then just keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn. Also make sure it is a oven proof container. Good Luck. I mean what can go wrong??

That sucks. Too bad you don't live close by. I'd try to rebake it at 350 and see what happens. If it gets ruin, freeze it, take it back on your next trip to Costco for a refund or exchange I guess. Good luck :)
