If you are a cooking novice stick with basic things at first so you don't get discouraged. Breads can be difficult at first. You have to have the correct temperature for the milk/water before you pour in the yeast etc. I really like the cook book "how to cook everything." It is very novice oriented - detailed instrcutions. I don't hink a website will do you much good when you are in your kitchen. Martha Stewart sometimes has good chefs on they show you how to do things. Email me anytime you like- I have 20+ years cooking experience. Good luck!
