What main dish goes well with mashed potatoes?!

If you want a meat dish, try baked chicken breast or a roast. Even pork chops! All meat will go well with potatoes! Or, you could add cheese to the mashed potatos and have them as the main dish and then have some veggies or a rice dish for the side dish. We eat tons of mashed potatos and use just about any combination you could think of. The kids favorite is "shake & bake" chicken (we use breast tenders) and corn for a veggie!

anything with gravy or sauce - sausage and beans would constitute a personal favourite.

Roast beef and gravy...pork chops and apple sauce...chicken...either baked or fried...everything goes good with mashed potaotes!

I'm not a big mashed fan but a good roast always calls for some. Beef or pork.

Pretty much anything. Beef, chicken, pork...

I'm not a big rice fan, so we'll pick up some Chinese or Thai food and while my boyfriend eats it with the rice, I pair it with mashed potatoes. I'd recommend orange chicken or panang curry. Something different, anyway!
