Does anyone have any good recipes for Tilapia or whiting fish?!
Answers: I am looking for a few good recipes for tilapia and whiting...or a site with some good ideas for fish.
You can cook tilapia lots of ways. I often fry it, dipped in cornmeal, but it's also very good baked with lemon-pepper or Cajun blackening spices on it it.
Not long ago I cooked some rice, seasoned it with Cajun seasoning, mixed it with a package of crabmeat, a small amount of defrosted shredded spinach, and some grated cheddar cheese and a dash of red pepper, and put it into a greased (cooking spray) pyrex baking dish. I then put defrosted Tilapia on top and baked it until the fish was done. It was very good and my husband loved it.
Hope this helps!
We take fish put it in an egg wash, then bread it with some crushed up spicy chips (use any) and fry it or bake it. It comes out so so good!! We get may compliments on it.

This is really good, my husband and I love it. The only problem I
found was that the fish completely absorbs the butter and you have to keep adding butter. To solve that, I saute it in a combination of butter and canola oil.

Tilapia is such a versatile fish, but personally we love it in fish tacos. Enjoy!

A really easy one, and works great with shrimp too! Just marinate in your favorite salsa over night- and then toss on the grill or skillet. I don't know why- but it's so good!

DIRECTIONS
Preheat your oven's broiler. Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.
In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to over cook the fish.
This is low fat and delicious...
Ground up almonds in the blender. Coat the tilapia with dijon mustard and then dip in the ground up almonds. Bake for 15 minutes.
