Kellogg's Special K Cereal for cooking?!

Question: Hi everyone,
I'm 26 years old, work full time, house cleaner, and the cook of the house as well =) I'm always looking for new recipes and creating my own healthy recipes for my fiancee and I. I'm a very healthy cook and I was wondering what you guys thought of this idea... I want to take Special K cereal and crush it very finely. I want to dip chicken in egg and then coat it with Special K cereal and bake it. What do you think? Thanks

Ever watch Semi-homemade cooking with Sandra Lee? This is a recipe she would use!! It sounds great to me! But you should use flour, then egg, then cereal! (flour makes everything stick!)

good idea, but you are a little late. you could also crush corn flakes and fry chicken covered with them...simply delicious

Sounds fine. Lots of people use crushed corn flakes to bread their chicken and pork chops.

I know one not very bright person that used crushed FROSTED flakes to bread pork chops because she was out of corn flakes. The whole panful ended up in the garbage. LOL

It's a good coating for baked or fried chicken. Just crush it up.

it will work----already a recipe like this with corn flakes---
Special K will be the best--healthiest...

sounds good and keep taking care of the house and cooking....sounds like she has a keeper....what time is dinner????? LOL
