Any ideas for an around the world menu next week.?!

Question: I am trying to come up with a menu for next week with foods from different regions of the world. I will be feeding a 9 year old, so nothing too weird please.

Please don't suggest AllRecipes or the Zaar as I am very familliar with those sites.

Just interested in your thoughts and ideas.

Italy- Spaghetti

France- Croissant

Mexico- Tacos or Burritos

Chinese- Egg Rolls

Japan- Homemade California rolls

Britian- The eat a lot of potatoes

African Countries- eat a lot of exotic fruits- Maybe Mango would be a good one

Spain- latka- basically egg, shredded potatoe, onion and fry up and serve with applesauce

Hawaii- Pineapple or pulled pork

Austria- Is also another that eats a lot of potatoes or cadbury chocolates

Just think of things your son likes or might be willing to try and see what country they came from originally. Almost anything you find at the grocery store can be traced back to another country. You don't have to get fancy just so he gets the idea.

you could do taco's they are fun for kid, or make an Irish stew , you could make spring rolls and pad Thai

Pierogies, they are a Polish food that is similar to a ravioli only it is usually stuffed with cheese or potato. You can eat it with butter.

You could do:
