My sister do'es a spicy chilli mince, popped in a taco with sliced tomato, lettuce and grated cheddar cheese.. Its very nice.. mmmmmmmm

Ingredients:
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into bite size pieces
1 cup lemonade
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 bay leaf
1 (12 ounce) package corn tortillas
1 head lettuce, shredded
2 large tomatoes, chopped
1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Procedures:
In a large skillet over medium heat, combine chicken, lemonade, olive oil, lime juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and bay leaf. Simmer until chicken is no longer pink, and juices run clear, 15 to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, warm the tortillas in the oven or microwave until soft. When chicken is fully cooked, transfer to serving bowl. Place lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, and sour cream in serving dishes. Each person can create their own wrap, using their preferred ingredients.

Yield: 8 servings

Buy Lawry's Taco mix, and follow the instructions!

I can give you a recipie for 'Quesa Dias',(don't know if the spelling is correct, using flour tortillas that you can buy in Asda, place the tortilla in a frying pan on a low heat add some finely chopped spring onions(or chives)a little grated cheese(cheddar is OK) and spoon a small portion of salsa*,fold the tortilla and heat slowly for a minute or so then turn over and heat the other side(delicious). *as to Salsa, her is the recipie I learned how to make In San Antonio Texas-- 1 large tomato chopped(I use drained, tinned) 1 cup finely chopped onion 1 14oz can chopped Chillies(can be bought RAW in most Asian fruit shop)some fresh chopped cilantro (coriander)(Asian shop),1 clove garlic squeezed through a press, salt and pepper to taste, mix well and allow to marinate for about 1 hour before serving, this is similar to a taco except the taco has cooked mince, more cheese and sometimes lettuce.so Enjoy.

I like all the ones above and this one below is a nice change....
Take leftover chicken.Shredded and place in pan with a little water and sprinkle in taco seasoning.Simmer until water is about gone.
Warm flour tortilla shell in micro. or on your grill.Add chicken taco meat, cheese, chopped onions, lettuce and tomato.
Serve with salsa and sour cream.
Leftover beef or pork can be used also.

I also like to use chicken taco meat on a salad for a nice change.

brown meat with onions, garlic, and jalepenos (optional) stick into tortilla or hard taco casing, add your fav. toppings, and enjoy.

dont forget any taco seasonings

Homemade Taco Seasoning:

Ingredients:
6 teaspoons chili powder
5 teaspoons paprika
4 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
3 teaspoons onion powder
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Put all of these ingredients in a storage bowl/container that has a tight fitting lid. Stir them all up, and you can store it for up to 6 months.

To make tacos, break up ground beef in a frying pan, cook it on your stove, until the beef is no longer pink inside. Drain the fat. Add 1/3 to 1/2 of the taco seasoning, and 1/3 cup of water. Simmer on low heat, stirring the seasoning into the meat. When the fluid has thickened, turn off the heat, and spoon the meet into your taco shells. Top with lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. You can serve with salsa and sour cream too, if you like.
