What is the white salsa dip at most Mexican restaurants???!


Question: I am dying to find out how to make this dip. It is kind of spicy after awhile, it isn't really thick or chunky. It is soooo good.

I just want to atleast know what it's called or how to make it!!!

White Salsa

1 C. sour cream
1 C. mayonnaise
3 limes, juiced
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 C. finely chopped cilantro
6 oz. can black olives, pitted, drained and chopped
1 1/2 C. green onions, finely chopped
5 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Pepper to taste

Directions
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream, mixing well. Add lime juice, garlic, cilantro, black olives, scallions, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings for personal preference. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to blend. Serve with tortilla chips.



just leave the olives out if you want to.

Caso dip, salsa and velvetta.

Eeeeww. The main ingredient is mayonnaise, with varying amounts of sour cream and other ingredients added. Disgusting. (If you didn't believe me look at mebepat's recipe.)

Try this one. Sesame paste add a little water to it to make your desired consistency.+ adash of salt,black pepper+tabasco ketchup if you want it spicy+juice of half lemon+3 drops of vinegar+dash of cumin,don't forget to add grinded 2 cloves of garlic it really gives a good taste.

It is call white queso dip -- The receipe is as follow --
1 cup monterey jack cheese chopped fine
4 oz. green chiles in can chopped fine
1 sorrano pepper med. chop fine
1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp ground cumin, 1/2 tbs fine chopped cliantro
1/4 to 1/2 half and half cream -- add to what thickness you like

It is very tastey and creamy
