What is a good substitute for eggs?
2 ounces of cream cheese for each egg or egg yolk.
Use a big glop of mayo or miracle whip. It contains eggs!
2 tbsp of applesauce for 1 egg....it acts as a binder.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes.
A box of pudding instant or cooking kind
Ener-G Egg Replacer - follow directions on box.
2 tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.

You can, but it would not taste the same.

yes...go to the grocery store and get the ready-made batter and jus add milk and water pour that **** into a pan and VUALA!! CAKE!!

Eggs add flavor and richness to a cake, but more important, they are responsible for much of the structure of the cake. So it is a challenge to bake an eggless cake.Do you have a egg substitute in your house, you can use that.

use vegetable oil

Here my vegetarian chocolate cake

1-1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cold water (or ice coffee)
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp vinegar

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Use a small brownie-size pan (no greasing required). Mix all the dry ingredients right in pan. Mix all the wet ingredients in separate bowl except the vinegar (important!). Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until all dry ingredients are mixed. Add the vinegar quickly and stir in — immediately put the pan in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 min. Cool thoroughly.

there are egg subs.. you can actually use mayo.

This website lists some egg substitutes that you can make such as:
Egg Substitute

1 Tbs oil
1 Tbs water
1 tsp baking powder

Mix well.
Equals 1 egg.

Good for quick breads and cookies.

I believe the egg usually serves as a binder to help it all stay together in addition to adding flavor which is why its so hard to make cake without them... Hopefully these links help! Good luck!

1 TABLESPOON OF SOYA FLOUR
AND 1 TABLESPOON OF WATER FOR EACH EGG NEEDED....

egg subsitutes:

ONE (1) egg equals any one of the following:

1) 2 Tbs. flour
? tsp. oil
? tsp. baking powder
2 Tbs. liquid

2) 2 Tbs. water
1 Tbs. oil
? tsp. baking powder

3) 1 Tbs. flaxseed* (ground in coffee mill)
3 Tbs. warm water

4) 1 Tbs. gelatin or fruit pectin
3 Tbs. warm water

Yogurt, mashed banana, applesauce, pumpkin, or other pureed fruit or vegetables are good replacements for eggs in muffins or cakes.

To replace eggs in casseroles, burgers, or loaves try mashed vegetables, tahini, (sesame seed butter) nut butters or rolled oats.

* Flaxseed is a wonderful source of Biomega Three Fatty acids that our bodies need and usually don’t get enough of.

Banana's
Apple sauce
and a couple of others also. Those are the easiest and the ones that most people have on hand...

I did some searches for you and this is what I came up with.
