Can I mail pepperoni bread overseas without it spoiling?!

Question: I am planning on mailing some pepperoni bread overseas, it will take about a week to get there. I am using the bread machine to make the dough, and then putting to together. Can I mail it without it spoiling?
Thanks!!

This depends on 3 things:

1. make sure the bread is completely cooled and will not develop moisture while in shipping, as this will cause mold, although not a huge worry since it is winter.

2. Make sure you package it a good sealed container.

3. pick the fastest shipping method to avoid it spoiling.

I have shipped several things, that took a couple weeks to get where they were going, and all but the pumpkin bread made it without spoiling.

yes i'm sure you can

doubt it food spoils over seas to much moisture

yeah that should be ok.

yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

yo who eva u r u r in sain. the frakin pizza will get spoiled and y do u need to mail it thats so dumb

I think it would be mighty risky to send it through regular mail. Check with Mailboxes, etc. or some other company that sends things overseas. They may be able to recommend some method such as dry ice in an insulated container that could safely travel for that long. You wouldn't want to send someone food poisoning.

Yes u can. make the bread with nore whole grain flour and and a little salt in the bread should retard the some of the mold, but most of all package in an air tight bag .

I would only do it if you are able to vacuum seal it with a food sealer or something.

I work for UPS. Just find a styrofoam container, put dry ice in it. I have delivered a ton of Omaha Steaks like that. Will last couple of days in there.

You should check and see if it's possible to send the food over there at all first. Most countries are very picky about what food can come in, especially meats, whether they are cooked or not.

In 1975 or so, millions pigs in Haiti and the Dominican Republic had to be destroyed because of an outbreak caused by contaminated food that had been fed to them from leftover airline food. It was a minor outbreak of a very serious disease, but it was considered to be such a great threat to the US pig industry that the US paid to have all of the pigs killed and replaced.

So check first with the post office..
