In any bowl with a little water & salt lightly covered with saran wrap, when done to where you like it melt the cheese separately and then pour over. Fresh usually takes 5 minutes or so

yeah, just put it in a bowl and add a couple teaspoons of water.

I would try putting in a bowl and covering with water not to much and cover the bowl with saran wrap then cutting a slit in the saran to let steam vent microwave til desired tenderness.

I have no micro steamer so I improvise:

1/2 c water in bottom of bowl
broccoli in florets or spears
sprinkle on salt and pepper

Turn a corresponding bowl upside down over the other bowl so the edges meet. Put in micro and nuke on high 3-5 minutes, check for desired tenderness and return or remove...butter and eat!

Yes! Just put it into a glass dish of some sort (I typically use my pryex 4 cup measuring cup), put about 1/2 inch of water in the bottom, cover with plastic wrap and nuke for about 4-5 minutes at a time (stir after each stopping point) until you get it the way you want it. Good luck!

Also, don't slit the plastic wrap. You want to keep the moisture in the glass dish, not let it out.

yes add about 2 tablespoons of water and your seasoning and then put it in a bowl and over it with eithier plastic wrap, tin foil, a plate, or a bowl cover. microwave for about 3 min and see of thats good for you. When you take it out put it on a plate and lay the cheese on top of it. And there you go.

without the fancy-schmancy stuff you can put the broc in a bowl big enough to hold it, with ? inch of water under it. Stretch plastic wrap over top, and poke two holes in it with a knife. About 3 minutes on high should do it

( Psst: ^^ no tin foil! ^^ )

When you cook broccoli in the mircrowave you suck all the nutrients out of them... just saying.

yep!!!!

I do it the same way as everyone else, and it turns out great!! we eat it a few times a week sometimes. we like to put it with rice and mix it with cheese so it melts.... mmmm, soooooo good!!

yes in a little water or better still in some butter mmmmmmm

Yes, though it'll taste better and retain more of what's good for you if you place it in a covered pot with a small (very small) quantity of water and cook it on the stovetop over the lowest possible heat. It is, however, key to not open the pot 'til it's cooked, which makes this difficult the first time. This ensures it's cooking in the steam generated inside the pot. Once you know your pots, it's easier.

In a bowl with a little water cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Cook several mins. and touch for consistency desired!

Sure just put some in a bowl with water for a few minutes if it is thawed out.
