Help, the Bisquick box no longer has the dumpling recipe on it. Can anyone help? Thanks. This is for ...?!
Answers: chicken and dumplings, not apple dumplings.
2 cups Original Bisquick? mix
2/3 cup milk
1. Stir ingredients until soft dough forms.
2. Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling stew; reduce heat.
3. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) No changes.
2 1/2 cups biscuit baking mix (bisquick)

Mix, a little milk and if you are making a chicken type dumpling instead of water use chicken broth or stock the flavor is much better.
I have found that instead of using bisquick use the rolls of dough that are preformed (like pillsbury) the ones that you can just take a dough ball place it on the pan and bake for rolls. Use those instead, break them in small peices and drop them in your boiling chicken broth makes great dumplings and there is no need for all the other ingredients and no mixing no mess and they taste great.
