Special Hamburger Sauce (like McDonald's!)
1 cup mayonnaise (or light)
1/3 cup French dressing (or light or fat-free)
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
salt and pepper, to taste
--In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Store in the refrigerator.

I also like to put bbq sauce AND ranch dressing on burgers! It is truly amazing, definitely one of the best weird combos. Add some American cheese and bacon and you have a winner!

Sauteed mushrooms would pair well with the onions. Toast the bun, add some cheddar, bacon, tabasco sauce, and a little mayo if you want.

You can also pair 3-4 different cheeses for a knock-out! Mix bleu cheese and cream cheese. Spread on the burger like a sauce and top with a slice of monterey jack cheese. Tomatoes, mayo, and lettuce would pair well with this.

Another idea is a pizza burger. Top the patty with pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. Add olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc.

Enjoy!

we use mayonnaise on our burgers!

lettuce/tom/cheese/pickles on a wheat bun????

try BBQ sauce, it is really good.

a lil ranch or bbq sauce or alfredo sauce mmmmmm

try roasted red bell peppers and provolone. you could use guacamole and pepper jack cheese for another option.

how about dipping that kind of burger in balsamic vinegar or some other kind of light salad?

cheers :)

bacon, tomatoes, onions, cheese, pepper, and mayonnaise.....lol

salsa

garlic creamcheese and bacon

Avocado, Blue Cheese, Caramelized Onions. . .

onion rings, bacon and sharp cheddar

with those seasons, make an Italian burger.
Some marinara some provolone or mozzarella some mushrooms

Mix some horseradish sauce with Bleu Cheese or Ranch Dressing. Also Wasabi with Mayo works great. These are quick and easy toppings that are a bit different

Thousand Island Dressing is really good.

Mushrooms would be delicious!

Hamburgers, yum! I like all kinds of toppings. cheese, bacon, lettuce with tomato, mayo, mustard, a little ranch, bbq is good too, pickles, and whatever else you might like. However I hope it isn't onions. GROSS! (*shrugs*)

Here are a few that i sometimes use for my family when making burgers!! enjoy!!

Thousand Island dressing:
1 C mayonnaise
1/4 C tomato ketchup or chili sauce
1/8 C finely chopped pimiento-stuffed green olives
2 T finely chopped green bell pepper
1 scallion, finely chopped
1 hard-boiled egg, peeled and finely chopped

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. Will keep refrigerated for about 1 week in the refrigerator. serve with lettuce, tomato, onion.

Feta Cheese, kalamata olives, spicy yogurt sauce:
***yogurt sauce recipe**
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 tsp. garlic, minced or pressed
1 cucumber, peeled and chopped
1/2 tsp. crushed coriander seed
1/4 cup minced red onion
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

In small bowl, stir together all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Here are some other creative ideas for your burger!!

1. Guacamole, bacon and swiss cheese
2. Teriyaki sauce and grilled pineapple
3. Sauteed mushrooms, onions and swiss cheese
4. BBQ sauce and onion rings
5. Wine sauteed mushrooms, sour cream, minced green onions.
6. Chili and cheddar cheese topped with chopped raw onion.
7. Green chile's, jalapenos, salsa (bacon optional)
8. Marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese
9. Sauerkraut, grilled onions and melted Swiss cheese

Try a dijon mustard instead of regular yellow mustard. Or mix some jared pesto in with your mayo to make a yummy spread. Those are my favorites for hamburgers.

Use the famous McDonald's sauce or the salad dressing. Next time get the one in the mayonnaise jar. It's very good. I even put it on regular sandwiches sometimes.

OMG, there are so many ways to make burgers fun! We make "pizza" burgers, and top them with mozzerella cheese and a spoon of tomato sauce, then sprinkle a little fresh basil. Or, we have also put grilled pineapple, and teriyaki sauce, which was yummy too. In Boston there's a burger place that has something like 25 combinations, so we try to copy them! You could do roasted red peppers and feta cheese, which is yummy. BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese is yummy, oh you could add bacon to that one too. . . .

Try pesto! It is delicious on burgers. A little lettuce and pesto is all you need.
