How can I make my homemade muffins puff up more?!

Question: They always come out so flat and unappetizing . . .

Answers: They always come out so flat and unappetizing . . .

Baking powder, or add 2-3 tablespoons of Bisquick(plus more sugar), or a good pinch of yeast in milk heated to 105-110 degrees...this milk will serve as the liquid you ordinarily add to muffins...unless you're going the applesauce way.

Maybe you aren't filling the muffin cups high enough.

Add some more baking powder or baking soda. And fill the cups almost to completely full, rather than 3/4's.

sounds like you may be over mixing. Only mix till just incorporated

Make sure to use fresh flour, baking powder etc. and don't use margarine. Do not stir your batter too much.

well u can use baking powder make the muffins moist and softand and backing soda. makes the muffind puff bot 2 much or else..
