1/2 tsp salt
Lawry's salt&pepper mix -1tsp

mince garlic--2 cloves
1/2 red bell pepper-chopped finely (actually minced is better)
1/2 onion-chopped finely
1/2 c rolled oats or Italian seasoned bread crumbs

Mix everything together and let it chill for a while in the frig so all the flavors meld together!
onions,green bell pepper,garlic,fire roasted tomato's.salt,pepper,oregano
To make my meatloaf, I put in of course ground beef, onion chopped, parsley, pepper, 3 slices of bread torn into bits, dash of salt, garlic powder, and heinz 57 sauce and an egg.
Mix together and bake at 350 for 1 hour,
If you have to go to the grocery anyway.....
Hunts makes a sauce that's especially for meatloaf! I tried it and it is really good! Very flavorful.
For each 1# meat, I use salt and pepper, 1-2 T worchestershire, 1 T yellow mustard, 2T chopped green pepper 1/2 onion minced fine and ketchup, along with egg, crushed crackers, to bind all together. Top with ketchup only, bake. Have used above recipe for over 40 years.
French onion soup packet, mix with alittle water. Also use an italian blend spice, with some garlic. And if you wanted to get alittle more creative, towards the end of cooking andd a few peices of provalone cheese (or cheese of your choice) then some speghetti sauce on top, put back in the oven for about 5-10 mins.
lots of fresh seasonings, onion, garlic, bell pepper, green onion
and parsley. Also add some regular oats (not fast cook oatmeal) in place of some of the bread crumbs and add some tomato sauce in the mix and pour some over the meatloaf when you bake it.
To make meatloaf I use chopped onions , chopped red pepper, corn flakes, salt, eggs ,tomato ketchup, mix well and bake it for 25min in 350 Degree
Three pounds Ground Beef
1 Large Onion, Chopped fine
1 packet French Onion Soup Mix
2tsp Granulatic Garlic
2tsp Salt
1 TBS Worchestershire Sauce
1 TBS Soy Sauce
1/2C Ketchup
3 Eggs
1 cup Old Fasioned Oatmeal
Mix up everything all in a bowl. Let it sit for about 10 minutes if it is too moist--the oatmeal will absorbe the extra. Put on a sheet pan, not in a bread pan. Put a couple of 1/4 slices of Onion under the loaf. Then when you serve it garnish it with them on top. Bake at 350 for about an hour.
Fresh garlic, seasoned salt, italian seasoning, fresh herbs (basil, oregano, thyme, parsely), seasoned bread crumbs. I sometimes get heavily seasoned salad crutons and smash 'em up instead of plain bread crumbs, that adds good flavor. Make sure you're using enough salt and pepper - ground beef needs a lot of help, or so I think!
You can also add all sorts of veggies, make sure to dice them tiny or it just doesn't come out right. Onion is important in my meatloaf. Also, any kind of bell pepper, some diced tomato.
I've seen people on the Food Network cover it in gravy. The other day I saw Bobby Flay mix ketchup and balsamic vinegar as a glaze, and covered the meatloaf with it before he baked it.
However you decide to do it, enjoy your meatloaf!
I add a can of Rotel to my meatloaf
