Cream cheese wonton recipe?!

Question: I'm looking for a cream cheese wonton recipe that doesn't have the crabmeat. I've gotten them at resturants in the past but can't find anywhere that has them now. The mixture inside looks like just creamed cream cheese but I know there has to be more in it. Can anybody help me out?

I make them sweet with a bit of sugar and some candied ginger.

I think it's just cream cheese. But try foodnetwork.com maybe they have something.

most of the time if it doesnt have the crabmeat in it.. or the little vegitables.. then it is just creamcheese.

Ingredients
18 oz. Pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. Monterrey jack cheese, shredded
1 tbs. Fresh minced garlic
5 Green onions, diced
Black pepper to taste
1 16 oz. Package won-ton wrappers
Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation
Mix cream cheese, Monterrey jack cheese, garlic, green onions, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Spoon about one tablespoon of the mixture into a won-ton wrapper.

With damp fingers, fold the won-ton wrapper in half to make a triangle. Make sure that all edges are sealed.

Quickly fry won-tons in vegetable oil until golden brown.

I used my Fry Daddy and it made it a quick job. DO NOT put ALL the won-tons together when frying them. Just fry about 7-10 at one time

Usually cream cheese, shallots, and a little sugar does the trick. Good Luck!!

Is it possible that you've had the ones with crab meat, but didn't notice it? "Crab Rangoon" is cream cheese and crab meat stuffed in a wonton and fried, sold at chinese restaurants. I've had them often, and you can barely tell there's crab in it. It basically just tastes like cream cheese, like you said. That's why I ask.
