How much is one bunch of spinach?!

Question: I'm making a recipe that calls for one bunch of spinach. But I bought a fairly large sized bag. I have never cooked with spinach before and I'm wondering how much one bunch is?

Thanks!

one bunch will feed 1 person. Wash it in a bowl of water. Take the spinach out by hand instead of pouring it out to avoid the sand at the bottom. Put the drained spinach in a frying pan with no oil or anything. Cook till the spinach wilts just a few minutes and drain in collander and cool under cold water. Chop it coarsely and squeeze the water out of it with your hands. Put it back in the clean and dry pan and saute it in extra virgin olive oil, chopped garlic, salt and pepper till it is heated through.

one bunch would equal one bag..If your cooking it, it will shrink a lot that's why most recipes call for one bunch.

You will find that the spinach shrinks, use the whole bag.

I love fresh veggies, but I usually get frozen spinach since it cooks up plumper than fresh!
