What are some simple ingresients to a protein shake?!

Start with yogurt or milk (any type of yogurt or milk, soy milk, lowfat, whatever...plain or vanilla yogurt works best). Throw in whatever fruits you want. Add some wheat germ if you'd like (I think this is best) although many people use protein powder. You could use peanut butter, also. Anything to add extra protein. I think some people will add in orange juice for taste, but I've never tried that.

Berry Blast Protein Shake -- Fruit Smoothie

1 servings 5 min 5 min prep

3/4 cup frozen berries or fresh berries (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, or mixed berry)
1/2 cup organic vanilla yogurt
1/2 a banana
1/2 cup cold fruit juice, your choice (we use blueberry or white grape juice)
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder


Put ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until it is your desired consistency.
For a thicker shake or if you use fresh berries add a few ice cubes
