If I want to marinade chicken breasts in Italian dressings...?!

Question: How long would I have to let them marinade. And if I was baking them, would I bake them with the dressing in a pan? How long would I leave them in the oven?
This is my first time with this, so any help would be great

About an hour, you can add the dressing, but boiling is a issue. I pat them off, so they can brown, yummy...

Obviously the longer the better but an hour is enough if you're in a hurry.

Some people pat them dry but I leave it on. The oil in the dressing will help cook them and they will be more flavorful. I'd say about 30 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Cut one open to test if it's done. Super easy meal.

Wash chicken breasts, put them in a pan and add Italian dressing. You can marinate then overnite in the fridge, or marinate them for an hour the day you are going to cook them. You can also just dump the dressing over the chicken before you cook it. 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink.

oo i do this all the time.. i marinate them usually over night but you dont have to... i also add onion and mushrooms in the mix.. when you put the chicken in the oven pan add some of the juice.. i also add some water to cut the thickness. cause if you leave them sit to long the sugar will burn off and then make a sticky mess... about half way from getting done add your veggies.... YUMMY!!!! you can also heat up the rest of the sauce you didnt use.. when the chicken is done pour it over cooked pasta or the chicken!

you would want to let them marinade as long as possible over night would be great but 2 hours would sufice and no maranade while cooking is needed but you can put a little in the pan leave them in the oven for 30 to 45 min at 375deg.

good luck

I place mine in the dressing in the morning and place in fridge. In the evening I bake the at 350 until juices run clear. I baste mine with the dressing that I marinaded them in. Just brush several times.
