Oh...I see....
Sure that will be fine.
Do you know how to make 7 minute frosting? It looks awesome tinted pink...or any color...

If you are making them the night before they will be find in the box ....Good Luck

Then putting them in the box will be fine. Cupcakes are only delicious when they are fresh.

The evening before should be fine. If the frosting is butter cream then you'd definitely should make sure they're refrigerated overnight to help keep the frosting in better shape for the ride. If your just using store bought stuff or a frosting made w/ shortening then you don't have to worry about refrigeration at all. The only real advice I have for you is to make sure the cakes don't move around in the box, maybe use some tissue (wrapping quality) paper inside to insulate between the individual cakes. Make sure to secure the box in the car so it also won't be able to move around and make sure that it can't fall or be fallen upon. good luck.

I'd keep them in the fridge until time to go, then any container would work. I know she'll love them.

they should be fine if you are making them the night before.
if you want easier transport, try freezing them overnight and then putting them in the box once you are close to your friends house. that way, they shouldn't get as smuged and they are sure to be extra fresh when you give them to her.
