To make soup?or at least SOMETHING appetizing...?!

Question: I have crookneck squash(frozen), fresh chopped onion, and baby shrimp...and not a whole lot else.
Can anyone help me figure out how to make an at least halfway decent soup(or at least dish maybe?)?
thanks. :)

p.s. its my dinner, so Id like to start cooking soon, thanks. :)

dice the squash put all your ingredients into a suacepan add some fish stock or a couple of chicken oxo's cover with water bring to the boil then simmer for about 20 minutes that will be a very tasty soup

Maybe you could cook the shrimp as your entree and then the squash can be your side dish.
Just cook the onions and put them into the squash.

You could make a squash soup by mashing the squash in a pot and let it cook until it's somewhat creamy, then add the chopped onions for flavor.

If you have potatoes and carrots, i've got an awesome recipe for potato soup. :]

Saute them all together, add a little garlic or garlic salt if you have it or even some parmesean cheese. If noting else maybe even some seasoned salt. Boil some pasta, spagetti, macaroni, bowties, what ever you have, or if you don't have pasta maybe rice.

Hope I helped and if not I hope you at least have a good dinner.
