Chili-Cheese Mashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS
2 3/4 cups water
1 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon butter or stick margarine
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 cups instant mashed potato flakes
2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese or Cheddar cheese


DIRECTIONS
In a large saucepan, bring the water, milk and salt to a boil. Add the butter, garlic, potato flakes and chilies; stir until thickened. Sprinkle with cheese.

Farmer's Ranch Potatoes

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds medium red potatoes
2/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup creamy Ranch salad dressing
6 slices bacon (optional)
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
3 cups crushed cornflakes cereal



DIRECTIONS
Place the potatoes in a large pot, and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook until fork tender, about 15 minutes. Drain, and cut into chunks, leaving the skins on.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a large skillet until browned and crisp. Drain, and set aside.
Place the potatoes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, stir together the sour cream, Ranch dressing, parsley, and 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese. Crumble in the bacon and stir. Pour over the potatoes in the baking dish. In a another bowl, mix together the cornflake crumbs, melted butter and remaining cheese. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top of the casserole is browned and crisp

potatoes peeled and bolied slightly mashed and add salt and parsley flakes and butter and milk.

Fries and peas. Yum.

Whats a meat pie? I am guessing it's one of those pot pie things.. lol If so, a salad would go great with it!!

roast potato +any veg wih a good helping of gravy
or just more meat pie.

Green salads.... cole slaw.... potato salad..... pasta salad....

vegies of any kind... but turnips mashed up with salt, pepper and butter...is excellent.

Caesar Coleslaw

1 pkg pre-made coleslaw
1/4-1/2 cup shredded parmesean cheese
1/2 pkg caesar croutons
1 bottle creamy caesar dressing

Toss first three ingredients together. Add enough dressing to coat. It's even good the next day!

green beans with bacon or ham

mashed reds with garlic

Yummy salad or crusty bread or biscutts

without repeating how bout veggies and dip/salad dressing( carrots, celery, peppers, mushrooms etc), with slice of cheddar, and different pickles, or a salad, or some cheesy garlic bread,coleslaw,devilled eggs, toast
