INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
2 cups milk
2 eggs
4 cups 1/2 inch cubes stale bread or cake
1/4 cup raisins
PREPARATION:
Beat sugar, nutmeg, milk and eggs. Completely combine. Put cubes in buttered crockpot. Pour egg mixture over them. Allow to stand until liquid is absorbed. Mix in raisins. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours

erm have you tried a crumble. i love them and i think you can cook them slowly on a low heat.
Hope this helps!

Hi, recently i tried out this idea: You know how to make cookie/biscuit dough, right? Make a little parcel and add in thinly chopped fruit of you choice. Even frozen! then place in oven for 10-20 mins :) they're gourgous! my mother reccomends to anyone!

Sounds like a Cobbler might be the way to go. Following you will find a recipe for Slow Cooker Cherry Cobbler using cherry pie filling. Another type of pie filling could be used instead. Or you could adapt the recipe to use fresh fruit that is available, mainly adding some sugar and perhaps some corn starch to help thicken.
