Can you cook with the white part of the egg?!

Question: I just bought Better N Egg. I want to make meatloaf but they tell me that you need the yolk for the meat to bind. Will the whites work?

Ima take my little shot at it and say why dont ya do your self a favor and use egg replacer instead. Its sold at the vegetarian store and works wonders. 1 table spoon is equal to 1 egg in baking products. And the best part is that its fat and cholesterol free. So yea, thats my answer.

yes you can

meat will bind without egg, so try it, I bet it will be just fine.

yes of course you can its got a lot of nutrition and a good way to have eggs with less cholesterol than the yoak, try making 2 eggs with only using 1 yoak

The whites alone should work OK for a meatloaf recipe. It's when you're baking that you need to be careful. I tried making an eggwhite quiche once to disastrous results.

Good luck!

If Better N Egg is an egg replacement, look on th carton and see what the equivalent is for one egg. Meat should bind just fine and be better for you.

sure, but i would double what I use

yea it is actually alot healthier

egg white has no cholesterol and is what they use to make the egg beaters cholesterol free eggs in the carton. yes you can use egg whites, yes it will bind.

Of course. Who are "THEY"?
