Broiling chicken question?!

Question: I would like to broil boneless skinless chicken breasts. I want to use a 'shake and bake' type coating. Can anyone recommend a recipe? I only have one 'broil' setting on my gas oven. Thanks.

Don't broil breaded meats the breading will burn. If you will notice, the broiling setting on your stove is the highest setting and it is real hot. Best to place chicken breast in a shallow pan and brush with butter and worcestershire sauce (1 tbs. worcestershaire and 3 tbs. melted butter). Cook until done about 8 mins. each side. Serve with some chicken flavored Rice-O-Roni and a green vegetable, and crusty bread.

If you are using shake and bake, I wouldn't broil it. I would just use the shake and bake and then bake it. I know there is a recipe that you can coat the chicken with BBQ sauce and then shake it with the bread crumbs. I have actually tried this before and it makes the chicken taste good.

The website below will give you more great recipes you can use with shake and bake.

The shake and bake mixture will burn on a broiler. the shake and bake mixture is meant to be done as it says "shake and bake". the bread in the mixture will burn before the chicken has a chance to cook.

Hi, I wouldn't broil these. You could bake them but I wouldn't broil them. They would probubly dry out easy. You could just use shake and bake and bake them in the oven.
Good Luck
