If you buy the bulk frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts, how do you defrost them?!

Question: In the frigde or under running or frquently chnaged cold water. Or even in the microwave on defrost. If you bought a TON of them and want to re-freeze them you can...just be prepared to have frozen finger for a few minutes. Thaw partially intil you can "break" or pry the breasts apart, place in freezer bags, lable with date and contents, and freeze.

TNT.

Just thaw as many as you need at one time; let them defrost overnight in the fridge. That is the safest way.

I take a few out at a time, and let them thaw in my refrigerator for 24 hours, and I use them immediately or within the next day. The ones I buy are not stuck together. If they are, that means they were thawed at sometime and refrozen, and they may not be fresh.

i soak mine in cold water for a while or if u need it quik slow boiling water with a little salt for about 5 mins

don't freeze them all together, when you buy them separate them put three are four in zip lock bags that way you won't be wasting any just thaw a pack out as you need too.

soak them in COLD water for a while. When they start to un thaw a little , use a butter knife to separate them, be very careful. If you do this while they are still partially frozen you can still refreeze in smaller portions

The first thing I would do when I got them home would be to repackage them in freezer bags in portion sizes for your family. then the night before take a package out of the freezer and place in the refrigerator overnight, if you need them now then take the package out of the freezer and microwave them on low temp until thawed, you can also bake chicken breasts from the frozen state. just put them in the oven with whatever sauce you want for example cream of mushroom soup and bake until cooked all the way through.

The next time buy fresh chicken breasts. You can wash and freeze them in packages of whatever you want.

buy individually frozen and rewrap to order. always defrost in fridge. If you must quicken the process defrost in microwave on defrost setting (but this can make the meat stringy.

They are generally flash frozen as individual pieces, so you can just take out the pieces you need and leave the rest in the freezer.

Thaw them in running cold water.
