Is it possible to put poster bord on a cake?!


Question: Okay hey my friend is having a baby shower next month and im in charge of making the cake and the theme is loony tunes but idk how to draw so i was gonna have my friend david draw some loony tunes on a poster and them cut them out and color them and place them on the cake but the thing is, Is that possible????
would it be bad for people who eat the cake ? just wonderin so hit me back pls & thanx!!

We have done something similar at our shop by frosting the top layer of the cake, and put a layer of parchment or wax paper on top of that frosting to keep the 'cardboard flavor' from entering the cake. The parchment needs to be larger than the poster board size, and you can re-frost over the edges of the parchment up to the edge of the posterboard.

the paint or color mite be not good if it get on the cake itself unless your using a edible color like food coloring mite work.

some stores have a machine that takes your picture and puts it on a cake.

sounds like the lazy way to go. I'd do a cake in the shape of a character or make a big sheet cake and put looney tune plastic toy figurines on top
