Tri-Tip in Crock Pot?!

Question: I just got a package of two untrimmed beef loin tri-tip totalling 4.70lbs (so about 2.35lbs each). I plan to marinate overnight in Terriyaki. Now the package calls for roast, but I tend to screw that up often and either overcook or undercook my meat. Does tri-tip usually come out well in a crock pot?

I don't know specifically about a tri-tip roast, but I do my pot roast in the crock pot and it comes out very tender and juicy. I set it at low in the morning and let it go all day and come home to a very tasty pot roast. The original recipe for my roast was for the oven, but it comes out just as well in the crock pot and is much easier. I would give it a try - I believe that your results will be very tender and juicy.

Roast it.........use a thermometer and cook to 110 (med rare) let sit for 20 min then slice
