salt and black pepper to taste

mmmmmmm. i love pasta. my dad's pasta salad is my favorite.
use any kind of pasta you like. cook it to your preferred tenderness. after it's cooked and drained, put olive oil into the pasta, just enough to barely coat it. add some balsamic vinegar too. as for the veggies, put in some black olives, scallions, and artichoke hearts. it's best when it's just warm, not hot. it's even good cold.
wow i like the same thing.

All MY pasta salads have NO PASTA!
Pasta isn't part of the salad group any more than icecream is part of beer!
Spinich salad, on the other hand, might include
~bacon bits,
~wedged tomato,
~cucumber,
~onion,
~radish,
~bell peppers,
~olives,
~mushrooms,
~crutons,
~extra spinich, usually a little garnish of
~garlic granules &
~parmesian cheese with
~lemon & oil or creamy mayo-horseradish, ranch dressings... That's about all the salad ever eaten anywhere all the time! Lettace is lame, celery is okay with creamcheese & things like carots or rocket or anything else stays outta MY salads!
Pasta is fer macoroni & cheese or ravioli or spagetti, not salad!
Best wishes~
Rotini
Julienne red onion, bell pepper
Sm. cut broccoli, lightly steamed asparagus
Black olives or capers
Italian dressing of choice (I like the spicy garlic)
Grilled chicken breast - slight char
Boil pasta, drain, add veggies and chicken, coat lightly w/dressing, pepper and salt to taste, sprinkle with shredded parmesan
Serve w/Italian bread cut on bias, toasted, sprayed/brushed w/olive oil
Keep the 'MMMMMMMM' sounds to a dull roar...
