Emeril Lagasse's ESSENCE Creole Seasoning from FoodNetwork.com

2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme

Combine the ingredients in a container and use as needed.

you can put garlic powder, salt, pepper, (there is some pepper with lemon if you like and you find it you can put it too) and a little bit of paprika

I use a sprinkle of these (in order, beginning with what I use the most of): chili powder, cayanne, red pepper flakes, paprika, garlic, onion powder, cumin, oregano

You want to use

Cayenne Pepper - for heat
Garlic powder - for kick
Onion powder - for flavor
Hot sauce - for heat and consistency
Salt/Pepper - For fullness

Also add a small dab of tomato paste to your hamburger, for that sort of rich flavor that you'd expect. If you want to be daring, you could try for a smokey flavor, a bit of smoke'd barbecue sauce added helps.

Cumin and chili powder

I chop a clove or two of garlic, add about 1-2 tsp of powdered cumin, (depends on smell), a dash of dried oregano, and some chile. I might toss in come chopped onion, it tastes better.

Don't forget salsa.
