I want to make a simple dinner without having to go to the store, any ideas??!

Question: Something easy and filling - try sauteeing or grilling some vegetables (ie tomatoes, peppers, onions, eggplant, cabbage, etc) as a topping for some pasta, cook a chicken breast on the side (slap some eggwash, breadcrumbs on the outside and bake it).

Or you could make some fancy sammiches, like try a turkey melt with some avocado and yummy toppings.

I dunno, life is too short to worry so much about one meal. If it isnt as good as you hoped, you have plenty more opportunities for better fooding.

My favorite website is ALLRECIPES.com because you can do a ingrediant search and type what ingrediants you have and it will list the recipes! And people review the recipes.

GOOD LUCK!!

chicken breasts, spread with mustard and rolled in bread crumbs, bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees, serve with rice or potatoes

get pizza delivered, since i don't know what's in the kitchen.

like to others have said, i don't know what you have at your house, but here is my kids favorite-

make 1 box of mac and cheese according to the box
brown and then drain 1 pound of ground beef or turkey
add the cooked meat to your mac and cheese
add one can of drained corn, and 1 can tomato soup
heat till warm, and eat!!
my kids like to throw a little cheese on it, and I like to add Crazy Jane's Mixed up Salt

Enjoy

Rice and chili burritos
Heat a can of chili on the stove in a medium size pot. Add 1/2 cup-1 cup uncooked rice (however much you prefer, the more you use the more burritos you make). Cook over medium heat until the rice is cooked through. *You can also precook the rice and then mix it with the heated chili, but the first way provides less mess* Lay out a tortilla and put 1/3-1/2 cup chili/rice mixture on the tortilla. Top with a little salsa and shredded cheese and roll up. Repeat this until all the mixture has been used. Either reheat in the microwave or bake at 400 degrees until hot and slightly crispy.

This is one of my favorites!
Enjoy!

Crepes. The batter is eggs, flour, seasoning and a little milk.

Fillings: anything your heart desires or whatever you can scrounge.. hot or cold. savory or sweet.

Try some of these ideas: http://www.aliciasrecipes.com/crepes_rec... - pardon ads on site .. pretty tacky but a nice variety of recipes.

And for the basic batter recipe try: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Basic-Crepe...

The trick is to keep the pancake as thin as you can. Don't overfill pan. This isn't an omelette.

boil some pasta noodles. i like the big round macaroni ones.

while those are boiling cook up a few pieces of boneless chicken. cut into little pieces when done

In a small casserole dish add noodles, chicken pieces, can of tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce, some spices, a little bit of cheese. and mix well

for a topping i use crushed ritz crackers. but you could use bread crumbs, crutons, or anything that will give it a nice crunch.

Cook in oven on 350 until its comes out a brown.

ITs DELICIOUS!! I make it all the time for myself.

Pull a TV Dinner out of the freezer and pop it in the oven or microwave!
