Use a can of green beans, drain off the juice and add 2 tbsp margarine or butter. Heat in a frying pan (gives it extra room so they don't get smushed) and add a little garlic salt and a little garlic powder. Simple, but perfect!

Also is the ever popular green bean casserole with mushroom soup and French's fried onions.

Melted Velveeta cheese. Drain green beans well, and add cheese, salt and or pepper. In a pinch you can use cheese slices. Place over drained green beans and microwave until melted. Stir until coated, and serve hot.

I grew up on a farm and loved green beans. Can eat them plain, or with potatoes. Just add 1/2 stick of butter and simmer till heated through. French cut beans are easier to digest and have far less taste than regular cut beans. Another mix is corn, carrots, and green beans
